Halls Garden Centre

We have recently completed a project at Halls Garden Centre to renovate an existing bungalow on site, previously used as storage, into a useable retail space.  The design and plans were created by Steve Needle at S&S Architecture (see his link at the bottom of our page).  We worked together with Steve and the Directors at Halls Garden Centre to make the best use of the bungalow and create a light and spacious extension at the rear.

All but the stained glass windows were replaced with Aluminium double glazing, with four extensive new units across the front creating a great shop window and curb appeal to passing customers.  The majority of internal walls were removed and replaced with supporting steelwork to open out the bungalow, moving the stairs to a more central location.  The extension was built to compliment the existing bungalow with a large lantern light.  All existing lighting was replaced with energy efficient LED downlights and the new retail space was decorated inside and out.
